Kerry Logistics Network has promoted Kenny Rutgersson to managing director of its Swedish operation, with a strong focus on strengthening the contract logistics business.
In his new role Rutgersson will also drive the growth strategy and business development in international freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution in Sweden.
Rutgersson has over 20 years of logistics experience and joined Kerry Logistics (Sweden) as Head of 3PL three years ago.
Rutgersson said: "In my previous role, I have noticed an ever-increasing demand in the field of contract logistics by our customers. This is why I want to strengthen our contract logistics capabilities through leveraging the group's expertise and proven track record in various verticals and enhance our overall service offerings to existing and new customers."
Located in the country's textile capital Boras, Kerry Logistics (Sweden)'s key vertical is fashion and lifestyle industry, but also electronics & technology, fast moving consumer goods, and industrial and material science.
